Washington DC Adds New Employment Poster
March 30th, 2011A new employment poster called “The Right to Breastfeed” is the latest addition to the poster requirements for the Washington DC labor law poster.
The mandatory poster is issued by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights. It provides a summary of the following information:
- Rights of women to breastfeed their children under the amended District of Columbia Human Rights Act of 1977
- Employer responsibilities
- How employees can file claims if the Act is violated
