MINIMUM WAGE

• Minimum wage increases from $7.35 to $7.65 per hour as of Jan. 1. (The minimum wage rate is adjusted for inflation every Jan. 1.)
• New effective date of Jan. 1, 2012

WORK EXPOSURE TO MRSA

• New information about how certain classes of employees may establish a claim related to MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus), spinal meningitis or TB:
• Time period for reporting possible significant exposure to their employer increased to 30 days, instead of the 10 days on the previous poster.
• Employee must be diagnosed with MRSA within 15 days after reporting exposure, instead of 2 to 10 days after possible exposure on the previous poster.
• New Revision Date of 7/11.
