WAGE AND HOUR LAWS
- As of July 1, 2009, the minimum wage will increase to $6.55 per hour with health benefits or $7.55 per hour without. (This is an annual increase. The minimum wage rate is recalculated each year and goes into effect July 1.)
- Change in definition of retail employees not covered by minimum wage provisions.
- Language changes in overtime definitions in the beginning of item 7.
- Information deleted from item 5 stating that employer may not discriminate against employees for asserting their rights under these rules.

- Heading of "employment and public accommodations" from previous poster has been changed to "employers and businesses offering services to the public", and "public accommodations" has changed to "landlords".
- "Familial status" added to prohibited discrimination categories for landlords.
- Paragraph stating that Nevada Equal Rights Commission works in cooperation with several different federal agencies in the administration and referral of complaints has been removed.
