WISCONSIN FAMILY LEAVE
(For employers with the 50 or more employees)
- Permanent employees may now take up to two weeks of leave for the care of a domestic partner with a serious health condition. Previously this leave could be taken to care for a child, spouse or parent.

MINIMUM WAGE
Note: The Minimum Wage notice for Wisconsin is INFORMATIONAL ONLY (not required).
- Effective July 24, 2009, the general minimum wage rate increases from $6.40 to $7.25 per hour.
- Minimum wage rates for agriculture employees also increase to $7.25 per hour.
- Minimum wage categories have changed from adult employees, opportunity employees and minor employees to non-opportunity and opportunity employees (Opportunity employees are not yet 20 years old and have been employed for 90 or fewer days.)
- Increases in maximum allowances for board and lodging for non-agricultural employees.
- Increased weekly salary amounts for all those employed as camp counselors.
