2011 Ohio Labor Law Poster Will Include New Minimum Wage Increase

The Ohio minimum wage will increase by 10 cents – from $7.30 to $7.40 – as of Jan.1, 2011, according to the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Industrial Compliance and Labor.

A new Ohio labor law poster including the 2011 minimum wage increase will be issued in the near future.

The minimum wage for tipped employees will also increase – from $3.65 to $3.70 per hour, plus tips.

The annual Ohio minimum wage adjustment is caused by an increase in the Consumer Price Index.   There was no increase for 2010.

As soon as an updated Ohio minimum wage poster is available, we will update our OH labor law poster with the new information.
