Colorado Changes Labor Law Poster – But Previous Version OK

Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination poster has changed, but the new version of the required labor law poster dated 4/10  is not mandatory. The Colorado Division of Civil Rights has confirmed that the modifications on the 4/10 revision were minor and “the poster dated December 1, 2009, is in compliance”. Colorado Lowers Minimum Wage and Updates Labor Law Posters

Colorado has the distinction of being the first state to decrease its minimum wage since the federal minimum wage was adopted in 1938. This decrease affects the state labor law poster. New Minimum Wage Included in Revised Colorado Labor Law Poster

A mandatory Colorado labor law poster issued by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment includes an increase in the state’s minimum wage from $7.02 per hour to $7.28 per hour effective July 1, 2009. Protected Categories Added to Revised Colorado Anti-Discrimination Poster

Sexual orientation has been added as a category that is protected from discrimination in the areas of housing and public accommodations in a revised mandatory Colorado labor law poster issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
