Colorado Proposes New Minimum Wage for 2014

The Colorado Department of Labor and Industry has proposed a minimum wage increase from $7.78 to $8.00 per hour (and $4.98 per hour for employees who regularly receive tips), effective Jan.1, 2014. The state will issue a new minimum wage labor law poster pending a public comment period.

The annual Jan. 1 CO minimum wage adjustment is caused by an increase in the Consumer Price Index.

We will publish an updated 2014 Colorado labor law poster including the new CO minimum wage poster when the state issues its new notice.
