The latest required change to the Connecticut labor law poster is on the CT discrimination poster called “Discrimination Is Illegal”.
This is the third change to the CT discrimination poster since April.
Connecticut law has now been amended to include “gender identity or expression” as a new category of discrimination prohibited in employment, housing and credit transactions, effective Oct. 1.
Other categories previously added to the CT discrimination poster include “transgender status” (June 2011) and “civil union status” (April 2011).
We have published an updated Connecticut labor law poster including this latest change. For more information about the CT labor law poster or to learn more about our1-Year Compliance Plan with automatic updates, go to the Poster Compliance Center Connecticut labor law poster page or call 1-800-322-3636.
