The latest required changes to the Hawaii labor law poster are on the Laws Prohibiting Employment Discrimination poster and the Notice to Dislocated Workers/Plant Closings poster.
New information includes:
- Employment Discrimination – new protected categories of gender identity or expression, civil union status, credit history, credit report, and domestic or sexual violence victim status.
- Plant Closings – bankruptcy added to business transactions that require employers to give notice of possible layoffs or terminations at least 60 days in advance of business closure
