Indiana Updates the Teen Work Hour Restrictions Poster

August 27th, 2015

The state of Indiana has made numerous mandatory changes to the Teen Work Hour Restrictions poster, and it is now time to update your state labor law posters for Indiana locations.

Changes to the Poster

First, there have been changes to the maximum hours that a minor may work. For 16 and 17-year-olds, the poster now differentiates between “Your work permit allows you to work” and “With parental permission you may work” as two separate categories. There are also different break requirements and new information about 16 and 17-year-olds who have graduated or withdrawn from school. The updated poster has new contact information.

Time to Update Your Posters!

This change to the Indiana poster had very little fanfare, and thus it would be difficult to know when this—or any other—poster would require an update. Don’t stress out over the unpredictable changes, simply enroll in Poster Compliance Center’s OneSystem 1-Year Compliance Plan with free automatic updates so that your compliance is easy!
