New automated phone system to apply for U.I. Benefits.

The Kansas Department of Labor has revised the Unemployment Insurance Poster to included information about the new automated phone system that can be used to apply for unemployment benefits.

Unemployment Phone service extended hours

Monday—Friday

7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Saturday

9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Two new TTY phone numbers for those with a hearing or speech impairment have also been added to the mandatory Kansas labor law poster.

In addition, the poster now includes information about the ability to speak to an unemployment Claim Specialist.
