Q. Will the new Maryland Reasonable Accommodations for Disabilities Due to Pregnancy Act require a poster?
A: Yes, there will be a required labor law poster. The new Maryland law, which goes into effect Oct. 1, 2013, requires employers with 15 or more employees to provide accommodations for disabilities caused or contributed to by pregnancy.
We will publish an updated Maryland labor law poster including the new Accommodations for Pregnancy poster as soon as the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights issues this new poster.
