The latest required change to the Maine labor law poster is on the Child Labor Laws poster.
New information has been added to the Recordkeeping section requiring employers to record the schedules and hours worked by minors. Also, superintendents must certify academic standing for work permits for minors under 16, and minors under 14 may not work in most businesses under federal law.
We are publishing an updated ME state poster with this latest change. For more information about the Maine labor law poster, or to learn more about our OneSystem 1-Year Compliance Plan with free automatic updates, go to the Poster Compliance Center Maine labor law poster page or call 1-800-322-3636.
