Nevada Desert

Nevada’s minimum wage increases to $6.85/hr.

An increase in Nevada’s minimum wage to $5.85 per hour with health benefits or $6.85 without health benefits, effective July 1, 2008, is included in a revised mandatory Nevada labor law poster issued by the state’s Labor Commissioner’s office.

The changes in the “Rules to be Observed by Employers” poster reflect an annual increase in Nevada’s minimum wage rate that is recalculated each year on July 1. The previous Nevada minimum wage rates were $5.30 per hour with health benefits and $6.33 without health benefits.
