A mandatory Colorado labor law poster issued by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment includes an increase in the state’s minimum wage from $7.02 per hour to $7.28 per hour effective July 1, 2009.
The Colorado minimum wage is adjusted annually for inflation at the end of each year and goes into effect on January 1 of the next year.
Colorado’s Minimum Wage Order 25 Poster also includes an increase in the minimum wage for tipped employees – from $4 an hour to $4.26 per hour effective Jan. 1, 2009. An address and fax number that were included in the previous minimum wage poster have been deleted from the revised version and updated on the Colorado labor law poster.
