In addition to Palo Alto, Santa Clara is another California city with a brand new minimum wage law that begins with an increase to $11.00 on January 1, 2016.
What Is in the New Ordinance?
The new ordinance covers all employers with locations in Santa Clara, and in addition to the established increase to $11.00 on January 1, 2016, Santa Clara will also have annual CPI increases every October. There is a posting requirement, and all employers located within the city or the sells goods within the city must hang the required poster in an easily accessible location.
Checking for Future Updates
Here at Poster Compliance Center, we are continually checking for both new and expected updates to labor law posters. The best plan of action would be to order the Santa Clara City 1-Year Plan so that you will get the required labor law poster in time for the January 1 change and be all set for any other changes the city may have within the year.
