Q&A: Immigration Reform & Control Act (IRCA)

Q: We noticed that the IRCA information is not on the federal poster. Was this an intentional change? Do we need to obtain this poster via another source?

A: The Immigration Reform & Control Act (IRCA) requires employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all employees by completing the Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) Form.

The law is enforced by the U.S. EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) but no poster is required.
