Q&A: North Dakota Workers’ Compensation Poster

Q:  Our current vendor said there was a mandatory change to the ND Workers Compensation poster.   Is this a mandatory change?  

A:  There are two  North Dakota workers compensation posters.     However, one must be obtained and posted by the employer and the other is optional so they are not included on our North Dakota state poster.

• Workforce Safety & Insurance (WSI) Certificate of Premium Payment (mandatory posting) – The employer must obtain the Workers’ Compensation Certificate of Payment (the employer’s proof of coverage) through ND WSI upon receipt of payment.
• WSI Important Notice to Employees poster – This poster is optional (not mandatory).
