South Carolina Updates Right-to-Work Law; New SC Labor Law Poster Required

South Carolina has updated its mandatory Labor Law Abstract poster due to recent revisions to state law.

The “Right-to-Work” section now includes an increased fine of between $1,000 and $10,000 and/or imprisonment for not less than 10 days or more than 30 days.  The previous poster included a fine of not more than $100 per violation.

Violation of this law by either an employer or labor organization is now classified as a misdemeanor.

We are publishing an updated version of our SC poster that will include this change.
