Will New NJ Labor Law Poster Be Required For SAFE Act?

Q.   Will the New Jersey SAFE Act require a poster?

A:   Yes, there will be a required labor law poster.   The NJ Security and Financial Empowerment Act (SAFE Act) provides unpaid leave for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault, effective Oct. 1, 2013. The new law covers private and public employers with 25 or more employees.

We will publish an updated New Jersey labor law poster including the new SAFE Act poster as soon as the New Jersey Department of Labor issues it.
