Minimum Wage

  • The minimum wage will increase to $10.35 per hour effective Jan. 1, 2018. (The rate is adjusted for inflation every January 1.)
  • The tipped wage will increase to $7.25 per hour.

  • Increases from $10.15 to $10.20 per hour effective 1/1/17 (The rate is adjusted for any inflation every January 1.)
  • Tipped wage also increases from $5.85 to $6.80 per hour


Paid Sick Leave (Jan. 2017)

  • New posting requirement, effective 1/1/17
  • Provides 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours per year
