VOSH (Safety & Health)

  • Penalty increases based on federal OSHA requirements:
    • Maximum penalties for serious and other-than-serious violations have increased from $7,000 to $12,471.
    • Maximum penalties for willful and repeat violations have increased from $70,000 to $124,709.
  • New Revision Date of July 2017

Earned Income Tax Credit

  • This poster for the Federal EITC program has changed completely.
  • Those who are eligible for the EITC must fit one of the following requirements:
    • Earn less than $53,505 and have a qualifying child living with them
    • Earn less than $20,430, have no qualifying child, and be at least 25 years of age and under age 65
  • New Revision Date of 11-2016

Minimum Wage (Jan. 2015)

VOSH (Safety & Health)

  • It is illegal for employer to retaliate against employee for raising a health or safety concern or for reporting a work-related injury or illness
  • All fatalities must be reported to VOSH within 8 hours.
  • Injuries or illnesses resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or loss of an eye must be reported to VOSH within 24 hours
  • New Revision Date of September 2016

NOTE: Spanish posters may not include all notices published on the English poster and may vary from our standard 18” x 24” size since states do not issue all notices in Spanish.
