Washington DC Updates Minimum Wage and Sick Leave Posters; New DC Labor Law Poster Required

The latest required changes to the Washington DC labor law poster are on the Minimum Wage and Accrued Sick and Safe Leave posters. New wage information has been added to the Minimum Wage poster.  The minimum wage will increase to $9.50 effective July 1, 2014, then to $10.50 effective July 1, 2015, and then to $11.50 effective July 1, 2016. Washington, D.C. has updated its Accrued Sick & Safe Leave Act labor law poster by adding the Spanish version.  However, the District has informed us that only employers with employees who have limited English proficiency must post in Spanish.
