Federal Required Labor Law Notices

Paid Leave
The Oregon Paid Leave notice has been updated with some clarification. The notice now states that if an employee's leave isn't foreseeable and they cannot give advanced notice, the employee must alert their employer within 24 hours of taking leave. It also states that they should provide written notice to their employer within 3 days of their leave starting, and that employees must continue to pay their portion of health insurance premiums while taking leave.

Minimum Wage
Effective July 1st, 2025, the minimum wage in Oregon will rise to $15.05/hour for most of the state, $16.30/hour for the Portland Metro Area, and $14.05/hour for nonurban counties.

Workplace Accommodations
A new notice has been added, which discusses employees' rights to pregnancy accommodations within the workplace. The notice also discusses the rights of employees and job applicants to be free from unlawful discrimination related to pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions. This notice has fillable fields which must be filled by the employer with company-specific information.
The notice is available in English and Spanish.
Sexual Harassment + Domestic Violence Protections
The notice now specifies that employees cannot be suspended, fired, retaliated against, or discriminated against because they are a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault, bias crime, or stalking. The notice also now states that an employee cannot face suspension, firing, retaliation or discrimination because their minor child or dependent has faced those crimes

Breaks & Meals + Overtime & Paychecks
The notice no longer includes older information about the number of hours required for overtime (prior to January 1, 2025).
