Bernalillo County NM – Employee Wellness Act (October 2023)

Effective January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Bernalillo County is $10.30/hour. However, the state of New Mexico Workforce Solutions minimum wage supersedes Bernalillo County’s minimum wage and is the prevailing wage. The wage is $12.00/hour.

For tipped employees, the minimum wage is $3.00/hour. If the tipped employee’s hourly rate does not equal or exceed $11.50/hour with tips, however, then their minimum wage becomes $12.00/hour.
