Washington Updates Workers Comp, WISHA, Worker Rights Posters; New WA Labor Law Poster Required

Four posters have recently been updated on the Washington labor law poster – workers’  compensation, workers’ compensation (self-insured), safety & health, and worker rights.

Changes include:

  • Job Safety & Health – Employers must implement written accident prevention plan.   New information about training and protective equipment.   New information about filing complaints and appealing citations.   New Revision Date of 12/2012.
  • Your Rights as a Worker – New information about domestic partner care under state Family Leave Act.   Expanded domestic violence program.   New Revision Date of 12/2012.
  • Workers’ Compensation (Notice to Employees) – New information about choosing health care provider.   Workers should tell their employer about any work-related injury or condition.   Claims must be filed as soon as possible.   New Revision Date of 12/2012.
  • Workers’ Compensation (Self-Insured) New information about what to do if a job injury occurs.   Workers should tell their employer about any work-related injury or condition.   Claims must be filed as soon as possible.   New Revision Date of 12/2012.
