Parental Leave (September 2023)
All the text has been rewritten and the notice has been reformatted.
The notice has been updated to state that only full-time employees are eligible to receive parental leave, unless they are a domestic worker.
The notice now states that domestic workers do not need to complete the probationary period, though they do still need to give their employer two weeks’ notice.
The notice now states that accrued sick leave benefits must be provided for parental leave purposes under the same conditions which apply to other temporary medical disabilities.
All of the office addresses on the notice have been removed.
