Paid Family and Medical Leave (December 2022)
Employers can deduct up to 0.318% (adjusted annually) in payroll contributions from an eligible employee’s pay or other earnings to fund PFML benefits. The maximum weekly benefit for covered individuals has increased from $1,084.31 to $1,129.82. A covered individual under the law could qualify for PFML benefits if the worker earned more than 30 times the expected benefit and more than $6,000 (adjusted annually) in last four quarters before the benefits application.
