Puerto Rico-Specific Labor Law Posters
In addition to the federal labor law posters listed above, Puerto Rico employers are also required to post the following mandatory state labor law posters. - Puerto Rico OSHA: This notice explains Occupational Safety and Health Law in Puerto Rico, including safety obligations for employers and employees, inspection requirements, penalties for violations, and complaint-filing information.
- Notificación sobre la Disponibilidad de Beneficios del Seguro por Desempleo/Notification Regarding the Availability of Unemployment Insurance Benefits: This notice explains how to file for Unemployment Insurance in Puerto Rico. It includes a section which must be filled out by the employer.
- SINOT/Temporary Non-Occupational Disability Insurance: This notice discusses Temporary Non-Occupational Disability Insurance, including who this insurance helps, and what the benefits are for different types of disabilities and injuries.
- Carter de Derechos de la Mujer Trabajador/Charter of the Rights of Working Women: This notice lays out a Bill of Rights for working women in the private sector. This includes the right to be free from discrimination and harassment, the right to equal pay, and the right to maternity leave.
