Workers' Compensation Rights and Responsibilities (July 2024)
The notice now states that a claim may be denied if an employee fails to notify their employer within 30 calendar days from the date of the accident, when previously it said 20 days. The notice also now states that employees who no longer work for the employer against whom benefits are being sought have 20 calendar days to report the accident, when previously it said 10 days.
