Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Missouri will rise to $15.00/hour for non-tipped workers and $7.50/hour for tipped workers.
This notice is available in English and Spanish.
Minimum Wage
The Minimum Wage notice now states that the minimum wage will be based on the provisions set forth by HB 567 (2025), rather than Proposition A. It no longer specifies that the minimum wage is only in effect for private employers and that it does not apply to public ones. This updated notice is available in English and Spanish.
The Earned Sick Time notice has also been removed from the Missouri posters to reflect the fact that Earned Sick Time has been repealed.
Earned Paid Sick Time
A new notice has been released explaining Missouri's new paid sick time program. Effective May 1, 2025, Missouri employees will accrue Earned Paid Sick Time at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. Employers with 15 or more employees shall provide up to 56 hours of Earned Paid Sick Time per year, while employers with fewer than 15 employees shall provide up to 40 hours. All businesses are required to pay Earned Paid Sick Time, except retail and service businesses whose annual gross sales are less than $500,000.
The notice is available in English and Spanish.
