Minimum Wage

Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Ohio will rise to $11.00/hour for non-tipped employees and $5.50/hour for tipped employees.

Minimum Wage

Effective January 1st, 2025, the minimum wage in Ohio will increase to $10.70/hour for regular workers, and $5.35/hour (plus tips) for tipped workers. The gross income threshold for employers to pay the federal minimum wage instead of the state minimum wage has increased to $394,000.
