Meal and Rest Breaks
The Minnesota Minimum Wage Rates notice has been updated with a section on meal and rest break laws. The notice now states that employers must allow at least one 15-minute rest break for every 4 hours of consecutive work and at least one 30-minute meal break for every shift lasting 6 or more consecutive hours. A QR code has been added to the notice, which takes the reader to a Minnesota government webpage on meal and rest break laws.

Veteran Benefits and Services
The Minnesota Veteran Benefits and Services notice is now available in Spanish and has been added to the Spanish posters. This notice is a required posting for all employers with 50+ employees.
Workers' Compensation
The Minnesota Workers' Compensation notice has been updated to state that certain work-related psychological injuries may qualify a worker for workers' compensation benefits. This includes a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder with at least one month of persistent symptoms, or a psychological injury accompanied by a physical injury. An additional phone number has also been added for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry's workers' compensation help desk.

Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Saint Paul, Minnesota will rise to $16.37/hour for large businesses with 101+ employees. The minimum wage will remain $15.00/hour for small businesses with 6-100 employees, and $13.25/hour for micro businesses with 5 or fewer employees. July 2026 wage information has also been added to the notice. On that date, the wage for small employers (with 6-100 employees) will rise to $16.37/hour, and the wage for micro employers (with 5 or fewer employees) will rise to $14.25/hour.

Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Minneapolis, MN will rise to $16.37/hour. The notice has also been updated with new phrasing, and a QR code has been added.

Minimum Wage & Paid Leave
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Minnesota will rise to $11.41/hour. Employees under the age of 20 who have worked fewer than 90 days consecutively can be paid a training wage of $9.31/hour.
Also effective January 1, 2026, Minnesota employees have a right to paid leave. Two notices have been added to the posters: one for employers who are covered by the state's paid leave plan, and one for employers who have their own approved equivalent plan. The notices discuss eligibility, employment protections, duration of leave, and how much money is accounted for. Employers must check the boxes above the two notices to indicate which notice applies to them. Employers with an approved equivalent plan must fill in the plan-specific information at the top of the Paid Leave Equivalent Plan notice.

Minnesota-Specific Posting Requirements
In addition to the federal labor law posters listed above, Minnesota employers are also required to post the following mandatory state labor law posters. They must be displayed in a conspicuous and accessible place. Businesses that fail to post these notifications may be subject to penalties or fines.
- *Minnesota Age Discrimination Poster: This poster explains that, under Minnesota law, employers cannot take any employment-related actions, such as hiring, firing, or demoting, because of an employee’s age.
- *Minnesota Minimum Wage Rates Poster: This poster sets forth the new minimum wage rates for Minnesota employers as of January 1, 2026. The minimum wage is $11.41/hour for all employees, though employees under the age of 20 may be paid a training wage of $9.31/hour for the first 90 days of employment. The poster also advises employees of their right to overtime after 48 hours for state-only covered employees, and 40 hours for federally-covered employees. Additionally, the poster notifies employees that employers cannot discriminate or retaliate against them for reporting a violation of law or for refusing to participate in illegal activity.
- *Minnesota Safety and Health Protection on the Job Poster: This poster details requirements for employers and the rights of employees under the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Act, including reporting obligations for workplace injuries and illnesses.

It also gives employees the contact information for their employer’s workers’ compensation carrier. As of March 2026, the notice now states that certain work-related psychological injuries may qualify a worker for workers’ compensation benefits.
- *Minnesota Captive Audience Poster: This poster summarizes state law regarding employer-sponsored meetings and communications. Employees have the right not to attend employer-sponsored meetings, or receive employer-sponsored communications, when the meetings and communications concern religious or political matters. This poster defines the scope of the law and states that employees may bring a civil action to enforce this law no later than 90 days after the alleged violation took place.
- *Minnesota Veterans Benefits and Services Poster: This poster summarizes the potential benefits available to veterans and their families. As of January 1, 2024, employers with 50 or more employees are required to post this notice.
