Washington Required Labor Law Notices
Washington employers are required to post the following mandatory state labor law notices. They must be displayed in a conspicuous and accessible place. Businesses that fail to post these notifications may be subject to penalties or fines. Here are the state notices Washington employers must post:

Federal Required Labor Law Notices
In addition to the Washington specific labor law notices, employers are also required to post federal notices in a highly visible and accessible location. Here are the federal notices employers must post:

Minimum Wage
The King County Washington poster has been amended to state that employers with "500 or more" employees must pay $20.82/hour. Previously, the notice stated that employers with more than 500 employees must pay that amount.

Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in unincorporated King County, WA will rise to $20.82/hour for employers with 500+ employees, $19.82/hour for employers with more than 15 but fewer than 500 employees, $19.82/hour for employers with 15 or fewer employees and annual gross revenue of $2 million or more, and $18.32/hour for employers with 15 or fewer employees and annual gross revenue of less than $2 million. The notice is available in English and Spanish.
Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Seattle, WA will rise to $21.30/hour. A QR code has also been added to the "Minimum Wage" box on the notice, which takes the reader to a page about minimum wage laws on the Seattle Office of Labor Standards website.

Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Tukwila, WA will rise to $21.65/hour. This wage applies to all employers who have 15 or more employees worldwide, over $2 million gross revenue generated within the city of Tukwila, or who belong to a franchisor that employs more than 500 total employees. The notice has been reformatted and now includes a QR code which takes the reader to the City of Tukwila Finance Department contact page.
The updated notice is available in English and Spanish.
Minimum Wage & Paid Time Off
Effective January 1, 2026, Washington's minimum wage will rise to $17.13/hour. Workers who are 14 or 15 years old may be paid 85% of the adult minimum wage, or $14.56/hour. Also effective January 1, 2026, the Paid Family & Medical Leave weekly benefit amount will be capped at $1,647. The notice now states that qualifying employees may be entitled to job protection and continuation of healthcare benefits, and that employees can file complaints about law violations with the Employment Security Department.
Both the Minimum Wage notice and the Paid Time Off notice are available in English and Spanish.
Job Safety and Health Law
The notice now states that employers may appeal violation correction dates if they believe the time allowed on the citation is not reasonable.
