Minimum Wage
Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Rhode Island will rise to $16.00/hour for most employees, $14.40/hour for full-time students under 19 years of age working in non-profit religious, educational, librarial, or community services organizations, and $12.o0/hour for minors 14 and 15 years of age working no more than 24 hours per week. The tipped minimum wage in Rhode Island remains $3.89/hour. The updated Minimum Wage notice is available in English and Spanish.
Also effective January 1, 2026, bone marrow donors in Rhode Island can access one month of Temporary Caregiver Insurance, and organ donors can access 30 business days of TCI. The English "You Are Protected By the RI Employment Security Act and the Temporary Disability Insurance Security Act" notice has been updated to reflect this information.
Pregnancy Discrimination
The notice now states that Rhode Island law protects employees based on menopause and related conditions. Language has been updated throughout the notice to reflect the fact that employees can now ask for reasonable accommodations related to menopause, and that they can file discrimination complaints based on menopause or related conditions.

Veterans' Benefits and Services
Rhode Island has released a new benefits and services poster for veterans. This notice is a required posting for employers with 50 or more employees. The notice aims to connect veterans with mental health resources, legal services, education and training programs, substance abuse resources, and other help. It is available in English.
