A new notice has been released, stating that pregnant employees in Philadelphia have a right to reasonable accommodations, non-discrimination, and non-retaliation.

The Employment Discrimination (“Know Your Rights”) notice has been redesigned and rewritten with additional information, including further clarification on what constitutes illegal discrimination. “Source of Income” is now listed as a prohibited discriminatory base, and “Sex” has been amended to include pregnancy and breastfeeding. The notice also now explains how to file a complaint, and what complainants can expect to happen afterwards
