Utah Required Labor Law Notices
Utah employers are required to post the following mandatory state workplace labor law notices. They must be displayed in a conspicuous and accessible place. Businesses that fail to post these notifications may be subject to penalties or fines. Here are the state notices Utah employers must post:

Utah – Unemployment Insurance Notice to Workers (March 2024)
Instructions for filing for unemployment insurance benefits online were updated to include more detail. A statement that benefits can be filed by calling the Claims Assistance and Re-Employment Team was removed, along with all phone numbers for the team.
Phone numbers for all the individual state employment centers were removed, and instead a general phone number was provided. The two Eligibility Services Centers were removed from the list.
Some minor language tweaks were made (“This notice will provide an opportunity for you to report details of the reason for the claimant’s separation” was changed to “This notice will provide an opportunity for you to report details of the reason for the claimant’s separation from your business.”)
*While the state has modified this mandatory notice, we have determined that this change will not impact the compliance of your existing poster if it includes the most recent mandatory change listed below. Workplace Safety and Health (UOSH) (July 2021)
Employees have the right to participate in a UOSH inspection. UOSH will promptly issue a citation to notify an employer who is in violation of the Utah Act rules and standards. New information was added on filing a complaint about state program administration. New Revision Date of 1/15/19.
