Although the Town of Bloomfield had originally said that they would not produce a sick time poster despite the ordinance specifying a posting requirement, they have just released the mandatory labor law poster for the July 1, 2015 effective date.
What is On the Poster?
Bloomfield was one of the many New Jersey cities to implement a paid sick time law over the last year and a half. The law closely resembles Montclair New Jersey’s, and entitles employees working over 80 hours in a calendar year to accrue 1 hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours worked.
