The minimum wage in California is on the rise! As we get closer to the end of the year, we are watching carefully for the updated minimum wage poster that will announce the change. The state is now on a path to $15.00 per hour by 2022.
What Is the Minimum Wage Rate for 2017?
Effective January 1, 2017, California’s minimum wage will increase to $10.50 per hour for businesses with 26 or more employees. However, businesses with 25 or fewer employees won’t have to raise the minimum wage until January 1, 2018.
