Q: What new 2015 labor laws require posters?

A: The Federal Applicant Edition Poster includes three federal labor posters that are required to be posted for all job applicants: Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Polygraph Protection (EPPA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO). Q: Where do I post the labor posters?
A: This is a fun question! I bet, as a consumer, you can recall seeing these posters posted in some strange places. I’ve seen them posted behind file cabinets, behind closed doors and posted so high I needed binoculars!
The short answer is that you should hang your labor posters in a conspicuous location accessible to all employees such as a break room, a common hallway or near a time clock. If you have employees on multiple floors of a building or in other locations than your main office, you may need to post labor law posters in multiple locations.
